My responsibilities as a gameplay designer : (all tasks with done with at least one other designer)
One of the key objective of designing this game was to design it in such a way that the design seems random but in fact was systemic from start to end.
Designed a story and narrative for the game and came up with the main mechanic unique to it. In this case, the story of an overworked game designer who is inside his own game and the main mechanic is destruction.
Designed a 3 level structure for e the game with each level focusing on a unique aspect and a unique environment design.
Level 1 : Destroying items and introducing story using unique encounter design.
Level 2 : Introducing puzzles and new mechanics based on the environment.
Level 3 : Closing the story with a twist.
Scripted all unique encounters in level 1 and level 2.
Implemented all audio (dialogues and sounds).
